May 2012

Monroe, Wa. – May 11th 2012 – Round 2 of the Evergreen Drift Grassroots and Formula Drift ProAm competition is on target to go down Sunday, May 20th 2012. Be here at 11am to see Round 1 Grassroots and Formula Drift ProAm winners Thomas Skarshaug and Victor Moore dial in their setups and shoot for a chance at back to back wins.

Grassroots competition will be fierce as the field again has hit the 40 driver cap for the second event in a row. The grassroots series has flourished thanks to the affordability of the series. Many drivers compete with their street cars and drive them to and from the track, proving that this is truly open to anyone who wants it.

The ProAm lineup is frighteningly good. Victor Moore will be defending his round 1 victory with Nik Jimenez, Jeremy Richter and Rob Primozich hot on his tail. The championship is still wide open so look for fierce battles all night long.

The front gates will be open for ticket sales at 11:00am with general admission tickets still just $10 and Pit Passes $15. Be sure to check out our expanded vendor row and please welcome new vendors Swag Supply and Forever Powder Coating to the family as they join program sponsors, 425 Motorsports, and NOS Energy.

After working up a thirst walking through the pits be sure to make a stop at the Evergreen Speedway beer garden and grab some refreshments, 21 years old and up of course.
